It’s already been confirmed. We just havent seen any gameplay on it yet. Only like a 2 second clip of it from the official Halo Anniversary trailer.
You know what would secure 343 in my Love list?
If they made a fantastically difficult to figure out Easter egg that actually did unlock a golden warthog.
Or at least on the billboard, If you zoom into to the max with a sniper Rifle on a particular spot on the billboard, it would have a very small Disclaimer saying something like " Exclusive to citizens of new mombasa, SPARTANS not permitted " lol.

The map looks wicked. Really, looking forward to playing it again. The Banshee and Gauss Hog are each other’s base’s ace-in-the-whole. It’s going to be fu’un.
Why don’t they make more maps that take place on Halo rather than New Mombasa, which is located on earth. This cannonly makes no sense to put Headlong into Halo Anniversery, if you get my drift.

Its a great map, and its multiplayer, Canon doesnt mean much in a virtual battlefield. Imho

I guess your right, Im still exited to play it no matter what. I guess my main point is I hope 343 sticks to cannon as much as possible in future Halo games, it just enhances the experience.
