Moa Statues Glitch Solution

Asking around i discovered that this week the Moa Statues challange has 2 different versions:

-The standard version is asking to find the statues on Sierra 117, Crow’s Nest and Tsavo Highway missions.

-The glitched version asks you to find them on Covenant, Cortana and Halo mission

Only a small group of “lucky” people (i am one of these) has the second, and glitched, version of this challange. If you were online while the weekly challanges were updating then maybe you have the glitched version.
To solve this problem you have to find the Moa Statues only in the missions the challange is asking you.

For the “lucky” people with the glitched version (who has to search on Covenant, Cortana and Halo missions) the easiest statues to find are at times 10:11 min, 10:28 min and 13:29 min

If you look at the patch notes for the 14 April update:

  • The “Eye Spy” challenge will now reflect the correct placement of the Golden Moa collectibles and track progress as expected.

    • This week, Golden Moas will be visible on all Halo 3 campaign missions, so the challenge can be progressed regardless of which missions are listed in its description. When the “Eye Spy” Challenge resets again next Wednesday (April 20, 2022) at 10AM PT, Golden Moas will only be visible on the three missions listed in the challenge description.

So for this week, do whichever map you prefer.

That’s not true because my challange didn’t track the moas outside the missions it listed (Covenant, Cortana and Halo). I shot to moas in Sierra 117 and nothing happened
