Look we all want a ranking system. I agree we need one but it doesnt matter if we have one and we still get matched up randomly.

By random I mean this. 1 person searches solo in lets say Team slayer gets matched with 1 random and two people partied up then the other team is completely partied up so now you are playing a 4v2,1,1 seeing as the people are partied up they will communicate better and will ultimately win.

Now the in join progress was probably the stupidest thing 343i could have added to mm.

  1. You will join half the time and it will be 45-25 or something like that.
  2. Your already in a losing situation because the reason you could join in is because someone on the losing team rage quit.

343 if you do add the rank playlist please take out the join in progress it will throw the ranking off.

Social should be the only playlist that has this feature.

I know I didnt explain very well but I’m willing to bet most people on halo 4 hate joining a game in progress.

It’s one of many reasons why the playlists aren’t built for ranked at the moment.

I think they should make at least one ranked playlist (4v4) and possibly more (FFA, doubles, objective) without join in progress, guests, instant respawn, personal ordnance and only with preset loadouts and only have a ranking system for these playlists. Keep the rest for social.

Agreed.

Ordnance is okay when all you can get is grenades and maybe a br/dmr out of it seeing as weapons arent laid out on the map like they used to be.

The way doubles pro is set up is perfect with or without radar the gameplay seems like halo when you have to fight for map control and work with your team.

The way things are now its just pure randomness
