Mltiplayer Question:

Is something being done in Halo 4 to reduce the rampant team-killing over power weapons/vehicles that occurs on multiplayer? It’s really frustrating to watch half my team kill themselves because they didn’t grab the Sniper/Tank/Rockets first.

I’m hoping there’s a bigger punishment for team-killing.
Like loss of Experience, or whatever is used for ranking players.

I don’t like the idea of EXP losing if it’s an accidental betrayal. I’m talking like your total EXP going down. I’m fine with losing credits for being kicked because I didn’t finish the match but please I don’t want anything to go down.

That’s something I didn’t test, but now that you mention it I wish I had. I played it with a group of fellow forum mods, so it never occurred to any of us to betray each other for power weapons (expect that one time UNSC Warhead grabbed the sniper rifle. So… close…)

I did accidentally betray a teammate while piloting the banshee, but it was one of the very first things I did in the game so I wasn’t really paying attention to the scoring at the time.

Darn, I was really hoping 343 would implement a damage reflect system or something to that effect so that the griefing of this type could be eliminated

As far as we know nothing has changed but I doubt it will be any better/worse then in previous Halos.
