I know v6.1 just came out, but I’m always thinking of what could make Reach get even better. I’ll start with the obvious Nbns and no AA, evade and jetpacks add randomness. Next step would be to add some new maps like beaver creek, maybe high moon or some community maps. I would like to get rid of Oasis and Nexus because both maps have really bad spawn systems. I’d like to have a map rotation of Countdown, Pit, Zealot, Beaver creek, Sanctuary, High moon and with oddball or assault added to the gametypes. What would you like to see for v7 settings?
I want the exact same thing though I don’t think it’s necessary to remove the jetpack on maps. There are some on which it functions as a power-weapon in itself such as Countdown. Evade is a bit more unbalanced and should go IMO, especially on the Pit.
The anniversary’s maps should definitely be implanted, especially Beaver Creek. I want both Oddball and Assault to return to the playlist it brings variation.
Posting a wishlist on this forum regarding MLG though, is as useful as brushing the dirt under the rug, since no one cares about the competitive (where skilled players assemble to play against people of equal skill) aspect of Halo in these forums.
I don’t mean to shoo you away, as your ideas sound like they’d bring a good change to the playlist. But as the person above me has noted, this is not the forum to be suggesting stuff. You might bring about a change like this if you start this thread in the MLG official forums. I’m sure they’d listen.
