MLG passes sold out! Pucket in the booth

Chris Puckett made a deal that if we sold out, he would commentate some of Halo 4 at Dallas. He used to be the main commentator of MLG for 6 years, before being promoted to production.

Great news for Halo 4, and we sold out 225 team passes. Inc. coaches, there’s over 1,000 Halo competitors (see, we arent that small :stuck_out_tongue: )

Anyways, if you are new to MLG, you wont know who Puckett is, heres a montage…

Puckett is the man, nostalgia level peaked to over 9000.

Someone should play this as his intro back to Halo lol

Hes such a cute fanboy in that video!

On the topic of MLG…

Sold out 224 passes, now theres more to be had! Going to be over 1,100 Halo competitors.

Now then, whos the 1%? :stuck_out_tongue:

… Actually that smug smile is onto something, if Halo4 wasn’t so competitively appealing, why would the event sellout?

As for the reference to being a small community, it’s relative size not actual # counts. Don’t diminish this accomplishment by acting like Halo4 needs the very small crowd that 343i tries its hardest to please while trying to not push away the much larger portion. As seen above, the competitive crowd is happy with what they’ve seen in H4 enough that they do want to give it a chance. Negative outlooks would not gain such a response and will not further the cause.

Tongue.in.cheek

Anyways, should make the Dallas event have a great atmosphere, time to beat out Starcraft in terms of noise(who cares about Lol, their finals will prob be fixed again)

Well its the first opportunity to play the game before it releases and Halo kids love to LAN its in our DNA. Its not like at the end of H2 when everyone was still fully hyped for that game, its the end of Reach a sub-par entry in the franchise…

Heres that montage btw Hilarious!

The event sold out. They opened up new passes as a matter of fact.

Playing at this event costs more than buying Halo 4.

There are well over a thousand halo fans competeing, that isn’t near the number of people who will be watching. The vast majority are from around the area. Those who aren’t from the area are spending even more on travel.

Puckett is seriously the best caster out there. His ability to be funny whilst doing a fast accurate play by play made it so much better to watch.

I just hope they keep Walshy and Bravo on board as well though, they do provide good professional insight.
