Agreed, we don’t need another Slayer playlist, we have three already.
I am sure if MLG wanted an MLG FFA playlist, they will have told you if it was confirmed to happen or not.
I’d play it. I think they had issues with one before though.
Yeah like what happened with Halo 3 right??? MLG FFA will rack in a few dozen people at peak hours.
Yeah, now that I think about it, it will be terrible without a ranking system.
While I would play the heck out of it, historical data suggests it would fail from lack of population.

Well remove the playlists which are not played that much/don’t need to be there, and add MLG FFA. Even with only a handful of players you will find a game because there is no ranking system.

300 players is not booming, thats what is referred to as a bust.

When search times are not significantly reduced, I don’t see what the harm in adding variety. Sometimes I search in playlists with 300 or so people and still find games relatively quick.

Respect. We need this and if you don’t agree then YOU’RE the idiot. I’ve been involved with MLG for years now watching and going to plenty of events, and I know that even with the huge success of Cbus that MLG isn’t owed anything. 343 already does countless things to help support MLG the biggest being hooking MLG up with the CE maps. I support an MLG FFA playlist 100% but have respect for people who disagree with you, don’t go calling them idiots for having a different opinion.

It was 300 just at the door. Over 1000 people total were registered. 300 At the door is huge, normally people register for events online. OP didn’t make this too clear, but 1000 people for a live event is fantastic considering they only expected a few hundred.

This is the only downfall to adding MLG FFA. I say add a competitive FFA playlist with ZB DMR starts, and just use MLG FFA Zealot as one of the gametypes in the mix, Or maybe just throw MLG FFA into rumble pit.

Creating another MLG playlist that caters to an already small population would most likely result in two under populated playlist, perhaps as a voting option in the current playlist would be a better idea.

I would love a MLG FFA playlist, but I would only want it if we could cut some playlists out. There’s no use in adding another when we already have too much.
Good idea. They have to get rid of some of the current garbage playlists though. Grifball, Living Dead, Team Slayer.
