If your a MLG or even just a competitive player like myself then you’ll know practicing on the current MLG playlist without a team of four is a nightmare.
If 343 could trial out a MLG FFA Playlist and see how successful it is that would really benefit myself and many many other users.
The following map and gametype would be the only game and map in the hopper:
MLG Zealot
MLG FFA
(ALL V7)
Too many playlists as is.
Post here if you would like to ADD more RANKED PLAYLIST’S to REACH
and not just have 1…
Or just talk about the topic of Ranked

whine more crybaby, go play cod
That’d be nice. I really want to play the MLG playlist, but none of my friends are into MLG, and I’m not a big enough competitive player to make/join a team. An MLG FFA playlist would let people like me play the MLG settings online without worrying about getting matched up with a full team. Sounds great to me.

Facepalm
How is he whining when he’s clearly stating his opinion?
What the hell does Call of duty have to do with this?
Wasn’t this tried before in Halo 3?
> Wasn’t this tried before in Halo 3?
Yes. It failed miserably. And that way back in MLGs heyday too.
It would be fun, but it would fail due to lack of population. Plus, I don’t think we can spare a playlist spot for a 1 gametype/1 map hopper.

Exactly. I predict a population of 50 players max at any given time. Reason being that custom games are far more popular and are not restricted to just one, poorly designed map.

I wouldnt say miserably but yeah it did kind of fail …
also THERE ARE like 30 Social play lists in Reach WHY IS THAT
FFA in itself is relatively unpopular compared to 2 team gametypes, especailly 4v4. MLG is relatively unpopular compared to more mainstream playlists. Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that an MLG FFA playlist would not attract enough players to be considered viable.
Besides, there is already a long list of ‘wishlist playlists’ way ahead of MLG FFA.
I’ve seen this request thread before, and although I would support it, the predicted population would just be too low to warrant keeping. FFA improvements should happen, yes, but MLG FFA is too exclusive for most of the population to accept.

Fail troll is fail.
I have played it on LAN and it is good in that type of environment where there is an outcome after a few rounds.
A single map, single game type that is more ‘hard core’ in nature would have very few people playing. It would become sensationally boring - Rumble Pit would have 10 to 20 times the player count.
MLG FFA in Halo 3 was not very well supported although it did boast a solid rule set.
I suggest going over to MLGpro and looking for people to run this as a custom game, or even enter some online tournaments.

helllllllll yeaaaa!!! i would love that! mlg ffa playlistt!!! anyone who disagrees is probably bad, or has not played mlg ffa much, JUST BEING HONEST. any dedicated mlg player would LOVEEEE THAT
Honestly I would love an MLG FFA playlist, but even I know that it would definitely tank hard in terms of population, especially considering that there’s only one map and gametype.
