Will 343 add MLG doubles to the Halo 4 playlist? I personally enjoy the competitive area of Halo.
MLG already has their own playlist, I see no point in having another.
They’re lucky enough as it is.
If they do have one, it’s going to have to be filled with Forge maps. All the maps are way too large for 2v2.
So does team slayer. Yet they have infinitely slayer as well. Not to mention doubles which in my opinion is another form of slayer. The MLG playlist is 4v4, and most of your friends aren’t on all the time. Makes it hard to search alone in a very competitive playlist and actually win. I see no harm in adding an MLG doubles, or at least adding MLG to the veto playlist of doubles.
@Negative 9
I have no doubt about that. In fact forge is given to the community for that exact purpose. I would not be surprised if matchmaking includes as many forge maps as reach did. Makes 343’s job easier. Why waste money on making new maps when you can have the community do it for free?

You’re missing the point. Team Slayer is a core gametype in Halo, and subsequently many variations can come out of it.
MLG is just a community. That’s it. Not a core gametype. They’re lucky to have a playlist all to themselves, but TWO? That’s just overkill.
Doubtful. If they do it will be down the line when the community has made maps for it. Otherwise i don’t see it happening. Considering map size I’ve heard people like Bravo say MLG might go from 4v4 to 5v5.
Yea MLg is easily the best game type and overkill for adding a MLg 2v2?? Are you limited how many stupid game types do they have out there in halo to many so yea adding a 2v2 MLg won’t hurt -Yoink-
Only if they actually support 2v2 on their circuit, if they plan to keep Halo 4 on, they don’t even support both Reach and Halo 3 any more, yet there is an MLG playlist on both.
MLG does not officially play 2v2s, so it is doubtful. Although anything can change between now and the first tournament.

This is the most ignorant thing you could have said.
MLG is a segment of the population, yes. But it also is the main source of competition among all video games, and acting like it’s “just another gametype” is ridiculous. I don’t think a 2v2 MLG playlist is necessary (or even worth the time, for that matter), but saying that MLG is “lucky” to have one playlist is just plain stupid.
The way I see it, Infection is lucky to have a playlist, just as grifball and firefight are lucky to have their playlists. MLG deserves a playlist as a legitimate competitive gaming experience.

I don’t understand why we can’t down vote posts.
I enjoy MLG as well, but no need to to split the playlist that much. If you want to play MLG/GB doubles just do it in customs.
