MLG Doubles Tournament

The Dropshock Brigade would like to formally invite any and all clans to participate in the first ever DSB MLG Doubles Tournament. This is a 2v2 championship bracket tourney for Halo: Reach. There is no entry fee. And best of all, there is no limit to the number of teams!
The DSB MLG Doubles Tournament will take place over the month of February.
The maps that will be in use for the tourney:

- MLG Pit v6.1
- MLG Countdown v6
- MLG Nexus v6
Gametypes that players may use in the tourney:
[/li]- MLG Team Slayer v6 (First to 25)
- MLG KotH v6 (First to 150)
- MLG CTF (3 flags to score, 15 second reset, 5 second return)
The maps and gametypes may be found on the file share of DSB Valorious.
The tournament will be pool play, followed up by a double elimination bracket.
Rules of Play:
- A team’s roster may only consist of two (2) players, no substitutes.
- Only players on a team’s roster may play for that team.
- Rosters may be altered and changed up to four (4) hours before pool play begins.
- Each match is a best 2 out of 3, with the only exception being the championship match, which is best 3 out of 5.
- Every match will consist of three (3) different maps.
- Each team must have a team captain, who is resposible for contacting other teams to set up matches.
- Teams can either post their results on the official bracket and schedule thread on the Dropshock Brigade website, or by sending the results to a tourney official via private messages.
- Only clan members will be allowed to play for clan teams. There are no free agents allowed.
- All members of a team must be in the same clan.
- No cheating, glitching, or modding of any kind will be tolerated. If a player is found to have been cheating, they will be removed from the tourney and banned from all future Dropshock Brigade events.
Remember, no matter how competitive a game gets, you should always exhibit good sportsmanship. Rather than trash talking, say something nice.
- The tournament is scheduled for February 1, 2012 until February 29, 2012.
- Registation Deadline - January 29, 2012
- Teams will have 15 minutes to wait for a 2nd player. If said second player is a no-show, you forfeit the match.
- Matches may start early if both teams are online and present, and agree to an early start.
