MLG and Gamebattles

Why in the world is 343i not giving permission for MLG to run Halo:MCC Gamebattles ladders?
Blows my mind. I understand a partnership with ESL, but that has absolutely nothing to do with
online ladders. Take Riot Games and League of Legends for an example, They have the 5 premier
professional leagues; The NA/EU LCS(2 of them), OGN(KR), LPL(China), and GPL(Taiwan/SEA) But
there are several other leagues. The Brazilian Scene and Latin American Scene’s. Turkish Scene, and many other.
To not give a game you’re trying to hype up in to being an eSport again and not letting 3rd party organizations
host anything is a bit ridiculous. There is currently no ESL ladder up, only the pre-season cups. Please explain
the reasoning behind this.

bump.
You let UGC run a $20k but not gamebattles an online ladder.
With the state of this absolute failure of a launch, I think a ladder
would do good for people who are literally being forced to play
custom games if they want to play this games multiplayer.
Any reasoning behind this?
