There’s an obvious opportunity to tie in halo wars 2 with halo infinite with some sort of event featuring the mk4 armor as a core, and perhaps some kind of campaign dlc. With all the flak 343 gets around infinite, I feel like I should say they absolutely nailed hw2, and with hw2 being the set up for infinite’s story, I think it would be a huge miss if they never mention hw2 again.
on a similar note: what do u guys think about them adding more legends stuff? like nods to cal-141 or spartan 1337? likely or not? I mean, they already used The Package style armor for blue team and added daisy’s bear.

Although as it stands red team the ferrets and fhe SoF have no real means of getting to the Sagittarius arm or wherever Gyre 11 is post jump.
Unless it jumped to the lesser ark?
1337 and odd one out arent canon so doubt it.
Maybe they name a map calypso in honor of callie hall though?
Honestly that stasis/link gun from the forerunner/flood war in legends is something id like to see a gun that is good for objectives on its own but has a stacked team shared fire and multi target effect it be cool for btb especially.
Or a new HVT thats a descendant of Haka or just like an elite who has the same class, maybe call them like adjudicator or mediator or something to denote a relationship with an arbiter?

Sorry to tell ya but that’s exactly what happened. If you want anything more to do with HW2 story wise be sure to keep an eye on the extended universe.
H5 features MK IV, but I have the feeling that 343 can only really include the full armor set as an armor core.
I would also like to see the Orion armor, MK5 (CE), MK6 Gen 1, MK6 Gen 2, and MK6 Gen 3.

I was thinking about this the other day, it would be awesome to have as a Core
