I haven’t seen any as of yet. But I’m sure there will be a few up very soon.
Another “should’ve been there at launch” content update. Serioulsy, monthly updates aren’t exciting if it’s content that should’ve been there day 1, just like the forge update.

I just saw the Mark V at the end of the stream… What… The… Crap… To quote Doctor Halsey : “What have you done with my armor?” It looks absolutely atrocious, nothing like the Mark V that we know and love. The Halo Anniversary version was perfect! Why could they not use that? The helmet is all wrong, and the shoulders look really off…

That’s a great question. They used that armor as a bade for the Mk V in Halo 4, so why not just bring that over to this game?

They had the Mark IV right but not the Mark V… Maybe from a different perspective it looks better.

Helmet wise, definitely. I wonder if that had something to do with this change?
I have a theory. This isn’t actually the regular Mark V, but a variant of it. Perhaps the Mark V~~? The S stands for… Well… Another word for poop, to describe how bad it looks.~~

It would be nice if that were the case. I just don’t understand why they went back to the old 2001 CE model for reference. I mean that model isn’t even canon anymore.~~

It barely looks like they went to that model for reference either… Again, the helmet looks like somebody stuck it in the oven and let it melt for an hour. The shoulders look more like Security from Halo 3 than Mark V. The butt has a shield glow strip on it, which is ridiculous!

I was truley afraid they would make it ugly again, another point to the “Halo 4 did this right and better” category
I for one am not really liking this design but this is a great time for the whole Halo community to express their opinion by making a constructive mature post about the things that are wrong with it without being complaining little children about it so let’s try to do that now with this thread, Iam not saying anyone is complaining now but let’s just get a head start and start doing a mature post about it and letting 343 know.
Ps. The Mark 5 in Halo 4 looked the best in my opinion.

Incorrect: the Halo CE model IS still canon, the HD model is just an alternate, more believable HD version taking direct point for point reference. It comes down to which ever version YOU prefer. And none of the Halo 3 or reach models count because they are technically part of the Mark VI interface redesign (halo 3 armor sets) or the Mark VB (reach alternate mass produced brand)
