i know that 343 has given the spartan armor a new lighter look which to be honest i don’t like at all. i loved about the old spartan armor and the solid heavy look that the previous versions of the MJOLNIR Armour gave, so i would really love for those previous Armour versions to be in the game even as unlockables. ultimately i ask that you don’t remove that original spartan look completely please.
I think the new armor looks awesome.

I like the finer detail on the new armor but my biggest problem is the bicycle helmet. The dome doesn’t look all that awesome. The fins over the visor should extend similar to Halo 2 and 3 not connect at a slant with the helmet. That’s the only thing I have a problem with.

They updated graphics for Halo 4 so the armour will look different. Still i like it
Don’t worry it is probably only the default armor you should be able to get mk5 or mk6 armor at a certain rank.
I think they look great
Hopefully there is a wide range of customisation options to really have people looking different from each other and get the Spartan they want.
I think the light armour looks good and as 343 said it fulfills a purpose. I do not like the look of the helmet which is shown in the red vs blue video, but I guess it’s only the default helmet. Other than that everything about the armour seems okay to me. I hope master chief’s armour will be unlocked in the higher grades of multiplayer. And last but not least I have a question for you guys.
Will spartan points in Halo 4 work just like cr in Reach?
I’m sure that the older versions of the armor permutations will be avaiable (example: on halo 3 and halo: reach you were able to equip the mark V armor)

Dude it’s just default armour, there is nothing to worry about, you will be able to change your look later on in the game. And quite dramatically by the sound of things.

I know they don’t have Shi Kai Wang around to make everything awesome, but they don’t even pretend to try and respect the original designs. Mjolnir is a simple design composed of circles and squares.
Plus they don’t seem to have a technical filtering process. They just draw something and think yeah that’s good enough in the game that goes.

That’s a -Yoink- thing to say. Better graphics = higher res, more detail.

The armor still has unlockable permutations …mark 6 might even be unlockable
But it still looks solid and heavy. I honestly like this new look more; It’s sleeker, curvier and more form fitting to the Spartans. It looks like a sci-fi game, and I love the -Yoink- out of it.
If we’re talking about the Spartan IVs: the armor looks fine, but the helmet looks ugly as sin.
