Mission ideas for Infinite

Personally I’d like to see a stealth mission in halo 6 infinite. Start off with a sniper and magnum, and give us the option to snipe everything, or sneak through without being caught. Maybe add some little hidden paths like on Halo 5 with the vents and stuff you can crawl through.

Anyone else have something like this they’d like to see in halo 6?

Also gonna add we should get something like am armor for beating it on legendary and collecting all the skulls/Intel if they’re still in halo 6.

What about an open world or a very big sandbox where you can choose between a stealth or a Rambo like approach like in Metal Gear Solid V?

Why am I getting the ghillie suit mission feels from CoD MW?

What about a mission in space? You would need to jump between asteroids and parts of broken ships during a battle in space while fighting enemys like Elites and grunts, all in zero gravity!

I want something like in Halo from CE or the ODST hub where there can be more than 1 primary objective. I never want a mainline Halo game to be open world as i like the idea and execution of levels, however testing the openness or even the approach like in Silent Cartographer would be sweet.

The prometheans offer nothing imo in terms of interesting combat scenarios, the covenant offered the bulk of the variation in Bungie Halo then the flood made it close quarters and uncomfortable (which i loved), a reworking of the forerunners as enemies would help make combat more interesting and varied like in the older games.

I completely agree. I’d have to go back and play Halo 5 campaign again (which I am. currently on H4), but I liked the original Halo CE mission design. I remember specifically on the mission “Assault on the Control Room”, the huge level you walk, drive, or fly around in and the open-level options you have to complete the mission. CE also didn’t tell you specifically where you needed to go unless you took a long time getting there.

I would appreciate if 343 made a difficulty setting that didn’t give you any hints as to where you needed to go in the mission, as well as changing how the AI acts in certain situations.

Excited for the next chapter. I appreciate the graphical and location enhancements in Halo 5. I truly think it was the most beautiful Halo game of them all. It also brought us to planets we had never seen or heard of before (on the xbox).

Well I’m imagining the banished being in the game and as you drive along a cliffs edge you look over and see a classic scarab (H2) tackling a banished scarab and full fight going on with two animation sets (where one of the other wins) that changes every time you start the mission and once the “road” heads more inwards a H3 scarab and a banished one drops down on either side of you. You can either completely ignore them both or take them both out for an achievement

  • A mission like Swords of Sanghelios. Despite all the -Yoink- Halo 5 got, this mission was lit. - A flood mission. I’m itching for a new encounter with the flood. - A mission like High Charity where you’re escaping (or infiltrating) a covenant/Promethean city/fortress.Hell, give me all of this, please.
