Does anyone have a good strategy for defeating the 3rd warden in mission 14, on solo legendary? I am stuck in the back left corner, the team AI’s are literally useless… Definitely not simple to handle the warden and the 4 turrets covering the entire room. Thoughts?
If you don’t mind, it is actually possible to skip this fight entirely without having to kill any of the Wardens and it is insanely easy to do.

Give that video a watch.
If you don’t feel like skipping the fight, you should be constantly ordering your team mates to another area, then making them target Warden, hoping his back turns to you and then get damage in. Rinse & repeat until he’s dead.
Yeah best strategy: Skip it.
You can skip it?? Incredible.
My strategy on my other account (haven’t played campaign on this one) was run and hide. Keep shooting, pick up binary rifles or any other powerful weapon you can and spray. Keep the AI’s alive, as they can save you.
Don’t try and run away necessarily or dodge away vertically. Use the thruster to go side to side. It’ll keep those swords away from you.
Skip it. You can beat them the legit way, but with only the hollow headed AI to back you up, it requires an insane amount of frustration and an equal amount of luck. Not worth it.
If you want to actually duke it out like some of us, however, here’s my usual approach:
As you progress through the mission, there are four knights you will encounter with incineration cannons. Each time you encounter them, pick up the fullest one. Give the others to Fred/Kelly/Linda. If done right, you should go into the battle with a decently stocked inc. cannon and all of Blue Team will have them too. Target the central warden as the three spawn in. This will unleash some massive damage between the four of you before they separate.
When they do separate, have Blue Team target the second closest one while you target the closest.
Exhaust your inc. cannon, then sprint to the far side (where the Wardens spawned) to find fresh inc. cannons. Keep using them until they’re all exhausted. If done right, even on Heroic/Legendary you should be able to straight up kill two of the three Wardens (in fact, using this method just for fun on Heroic I accidentally got the “Kill 2 Wardens simultaneously” achievement). The third one is simple after that point.
If Blue Team gets O-KO’d during this and it’s down to just you, do whatever you can to stay alive until they spawn back in.
If you use the above strategy to its best potential, the third Warden will usually be so low that even when you’re out of inc. cannons you can eliminate him quickly without his turrets causing a big issue.
You can skip it or before entering gather power weapons - binary rifle and cannon. In the room you’ll find more of them so you’ll be able to kill the wardens with it.
Just run and hide so you won’t get gangbanged and shoot at them from the binary and cannon and they’ll get killed pretty easily and quickly.
PS. I’ve encountered quite few cannons and rifles so I also given them to my squad.
If you insist on actually doing the fight, I do recommend you keep them separate and engage them one by one. Keep a scattershot and binary rifle and slip behind the one you’re fighting. If you keep the others far away enough then you can keep gunning the one in the back over and over without it ever fully recovering until it dies. Rinse and repeat. Be sure to keep your teammates alive, no matter how useless they are, to ensure you can be revived if something goes wrong.
But seriously, this fight isn’t that hard. Try doing the achievement on solo, where you have to kill two Wardens AT THE SAME TIME on Heroic or Legendary.
This took me a LOT of time. SOLO.

Do you just have to initial the death sequence of the 2nd while the other one is in it’s death animation? Or does the kill shot have to be the same?
It took me forever to try and beat this on Legendary. I knew about the skip, but wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. (I may never do that again!) My strategy became to eliminate the two turrets on one side and stick close to where they were. Whenever my teammates died I just played ring-a-round the rosy with the warden on the platform with light riffles and scattershots until my team respawned. Then, when the Warden was distracted enough to not one shot me with his cyclops vision, I would unload whatever I had on him. Aim for his core as much as you can, but any shot on him does damage, so don’t hold back.
You know you can skip them right? If you are wanting to beat them just cause, use the local powers and precision weapons as usual. Once you learn what to do, the Warden becomes way easier to kill.

This.
Stand on one of the pillar platforms, using the pillar itself for cover from the beam cannon things, and bait the warden back and forth just enough that he stays where you can be protected from beams and dps him. Use the suppressor on his face it melts him.
Scattershots make a good finishing blow on him, but to bring him down, incineration cannons and binary rifles are the way to go.
