First : I completed the win 70 games monthly challenge, and did not recieve the 15000 xp. Does it get added right away, or when the challenge timer expires?
Second : Last specialization, I had just finished a spartan ops mission, and only needed ~2500 xp to rank up, when I recieved ~15000 xp thanks to a double xp token … after choosing a new specialization that xp never showed, Will it ever? Or is that just the way things are?
That happened to me yesterday…I think we are out of luck. It looks like once you hit a new specialization level any additional points are lost. Noe one responded to my thread, so I’m not 100% sure, but I played several games after and did not receive the points.
You’re SOL on the excess xp from choosing the new spec. Once you choose your spec you lose it, but you also skip ahead one rank, so it’s a pretty decent trade off.
On the challenge xp, it doesn’t show up in the post game screen but it does add to your xp bar.
