Missing kills

Ok so I just played a round of big team slayer I went 25-9 when the game was finished and I looked at the carnage report it said 19-9. Odd? Where did my 6 kills go? I know its not a lot but how many times has this happened 3, 5, 50? 100? who knows. Why is this happening? Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does it have to do with opponents dash boarding? I think its pretty ridiculous it has happened AT ALL. 343 needs to get they’re act together. If it does have something to do with dash boarding then the penalty system needs to come back into play. Also a lot of the other team had guest accounts playing could it have something to do with that? If so fix it or remove the ability to allow guests on multiplayer. Can anyone explain this issue?

I have noticed discrepancies between the in game score board and the post match report on quite a few occasions. The one thing I could relate it to each time was that vehicle destroy medals were being counted as a kill on top of the actual medal for killing the player.

Example: you fire a spartan laser at an enemy ghost, you get 1 spartan laser kill medal and a vehicle destroy medal. The game counts these individually and gives you 2 kills when in actual fact you only killed 1 player.

I could be way off but this is just something I’ve noticed happen to me before. Check the match summary to see how many vehicles you destroyed.

Do we even get perfections anymore?

I played on game and actually had no deaths and had 15 kills on a double’s match. But it only counted 14 kills because early in the beginning of the game, one guy quit out on the other team. So it didn’t count! Oh well…

This is getting ridiculous I just played a game I had 9 kills someone backed out and it chose a new host. When the game resumed I had 5 kills, 4 vanished I continued to play I got five more kills it says "killing spree…Uh shouldnt it be running riot, look at the scoreboard what the hell 10 kills? i thought i had 15 wtf. C’mon what is going on here can anyone explain?

This is actually the correct reasoning. The game awards you an additional kill for killing an enemy occupied vehicle. Thus, in the scoreboard you may have 21, or 23, or whatever, but if it’s lower at the post-game carnage screen, it’s because you physically only killed the lower numbered amount of players and the kills you’re missing, are from vehicles being killed by you.

Happened to me as well. I don’t intentionally go for perfections, but on Ragnarok I managed 19 kills, 0 deaths once; it was a truly adventurous game.

Score screen said 12 kills, 0 deaths.

It’s just stupid. I’ve stopped caring.

Oh, that’s just great. Even more reason not to give a damn about the scoreboard. I applaud 343 for rewarding flag carriers with 100 points, but on Slayer, the point system is just irrelevant.

I had a CTF game on Complex a while back where I finally got the Unfrigginbelievable medal (showed up in game) and then when I checked the stats on Waypoint it cut my kills in half and acted like the rampage medal was as far as I got. Really annoying.
