Seriously, Halo 5 is missing some crucial game types for multiplayer. Not necessarily for matchmaking but for custom games at least. In every Halo game since 2 there have been King of the Hill, Infection, Juggernaught and more. My question is where are these or will they be added in? Because I really miss custom game night with my mates. Also file share will be a must (like in the other Halos and not MCC) you know just for better game types.
This has already been said again and again. 343i is releasing more gametypes in a month or two. I personally don’t like it but what can you do.

Source? I know that they obviously will have a lot to add when forge comes out. But do we know that the forge update is the soonest we’re getting new gametypes? Because that would be a very poor choice on 343’s part if we get stuck with what we have now for another month+

Just an assumption, seems like what 343i might do. Again, I don’t like it but Slayer is still pretty fun and will tide me over for the time being, plus Flood/Infection in MCC.

You’re assuming too much. They said they’re releasing Forge. They said nothing about bringing gametypes with it. There’s no reason they couldn’t have come with the vanilla maps. They’d all work with Oddball, Territories, KOTH, etc.

I think adding forge is the best time to add everything else, well not best per-say but most convenient for them as of now.

Yeah but what I don’t get is why not have it in from the start when they worked so well with EVERY other Halo game. I mean seriously.

343i has shown they are great at making Halo games, just not great at having it all finished on release (sadly).

No one likes territories… Strongholds is a better version… I just want action sack and big team battle

The thing about Halo 5 is that everything that’s in the game is pretty good content. The issue is that there isn’t enough. But of course you have people losing their minds over some of the things 343 did do right, which makes their job even more difficult.
Forge will be the start of the creation of all of the game type variants that are missing.
I want: 1v1, 2v2, 6v6, 8v8, snipes
Also an MLG game with br start.
