I purchased the Halo 5 Limited Edition from Amazon. In the item description on the product page listing reads as follows:

I have been around with Amazon and Microsoft about this and both are just pointing fingers at one another. Microsoft customer service employee even suggested I try reaching out to here. Of course I told them that is going to be trying to jog up hill with roller skates. I would appreciate it if someone contacted me about this. I can provide the purchase details and chat transcripts upon request.
I just realized that I had not received my FOTUS armor either.
Same here, anyone receive theirs yet? I thought it would be through the REQ packs but supposedly you only get 2 of those a week for 7 weeks.
I did not receive a code or anything for FOTUS armor on my order as well, I contacted Amazon at first thinking it may have been them forgetting to send me a promotional code but I was told that description was removed from the listing or something and they gave me $2.00 towards a new purchase of whatever haha. I don’t care that much but it would have been nice to Unicorn around. It may be inside one of the warzone req bundles, only time will tell
My issue is a little different. I purchased the Halo 5 Limited Collectors Edition and Limited Edition Halo 5 Custom XBOX that comes with the exclusive FOTUS Armor. It came with the code, but when I entered it it took me to another blank white screen and then back to the store. At the time I figure it was all set and when I went in game I didn’t see it unlocked. So I figured, like Destiny and other games it’s something I needed to reach a certain level to get, but then I saw some players with the armor on and the same or lower rank than me. I tried the code again and of course it told me that it was used already. Microsoft asked for the code on Tuesday when I called again, and I was not able to find it. Might have been tossed with the other wrappers and packaging from the shipments.
Contacted Best Buy and they told me to contact Microsoft, which of course told me to contact Best Buy. After my 2nd call with Microsoft, I was referred to come here and post my issue. Is there a possible customer service number that I can have to call the developers for assistance? Microsoft shows the game and req packs being redeemed, but no record of the FOTUS armor pack.
I have the receipts for over $700 of Halo 5 purchases and a 2hr chat transcript if it will help me get a working code for a FREE Armor DLC.
I’m having the same problem. I preordered the limited edition from Amazon. Never got the armor. Microsoft says to contact Amazon. So I did… Amazon said it should show up in the req packs that came with the game. Which makes no sense because it’s a pre-order bonus…

The FOTUS pack is not a pre-order bonus. It’s a DLC that comes with the Custom Halo 5: Guardians Xbox ONE. If they put it in their description of the game, then Amazon screwed up big time. It’s a code separate from the REQ packs.

Amazon has screwed up big time. After doing some more research it was like with Halo 4 console bundle. You get Fotus armor with that bundle. But if you were to look at the product description which I copied and pasted above from their site it reads differently for the Limited Collectors Edition. Which only differentiates itself by one word. if you look at the console bundle it says nothing about Fotus in the description. Which is a big mistake. I personally hate this exclusive crap.
I personally at the time thought maybe they were selling the Limited Edition THIS time with the Fotus. Not just the console bundle. Which is why I ordered through Amazon because I do a lot of my shopping there.
Just by looking on EBay the purchase and auction prices for a piece of cosmetic is ridiculous. I’ve gone around with both Amazon and Microsoft about this and they both just point fingers at each other. So I ended up with an additional Limited Edition game still in the plastic from Amazon for the inconvenience, which I’ll most likely sale or trade because you can’t stack your REQ bundles on one account. Not worth creating another account to use.
They did put it in the limited edtion description for the $100.00 version of the game.

so the limited edition and collector’s edition comes with which armor set vs whatever set comes with the console bundle?
