I’m a member of the Halo Insider program and I routinely receive invites to various flights. The last email I received about a flight was for Season 7 of MCC on May 21. Like other people I was bummed when I didn’t get an email invite for the Halo Infinite July Tech Preview. I checked my Waypoint account on July 30th for any messages and there was nothing. I logged into Halo waypoint today and I have three messages dated July 29th.

I haven’t received an email for any of these (yes I checked spam) and they didn’t show up in my forum messages when I checked. I’m really bumped because it seems I missed out on the Infinite tech preview for no reason. My email is verified. It is the same email I use for my Microsoft account. I am opted into all communications. Is there something I can do to prevent this from happening in the future? It seems like there’s an issue with my account because when I click on the notification for the Infinite Tech preview it just takes me to a page that says “Access Denied”. I admit this may be due to the fact that the dates for preview are over already but when I click on the invitation for the Waypoint July Preview there are also issues. It prompts me to sign in again and when I do it says that “Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in.”
AADSTS50020: User account ‘myemail’ from identity provider ‘live.com’ does not exist in tenant ‘Microsoft’ and cannot access the application ‘c95bb58d-9845-4688-8eeb-bf3c35b4e298’(Halo Waypoint (Next - Beta/Preview)) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.
Under this there is a large amount of troubleshooting details that I have screenshotted and copied to a Word Document.
If anyone can offer any insights into these issues it would be much appreciated. I really don’t want to miss the next round of Infinite Previews if there’s an issue with my Waypoint account.
I’m really sorry you have had this problem OP, despite the problem as you might know another flight is expected to happen, at least announced at gamescon coming in 5 days, so as long as you have your email and insider program up to date you have another chance to get into the flight, best of luck!

Same issue with the last flight and I’m not getting the emails again. I received the waypoint messages but never got an email. I was lucky and learned the process to access the flight from a friend so I got in. I must have been on the invite list but the email was never received.
I am not getting the emails again and I’m hopeful I can do the same process but it seems like a larger issue. I have everything opted in and have been signed up to be an insider for a long time.

Depending on your email provider these can be quite delayed and/or turn up in strange folders. If you Use gmail or outlook, check your other folders/inbox/junk to see if it’s hiding somewhere.

I’ve looked everywhere. Everything is how it should be on Waypoint. I’m ituationin a similar situation as Dulz555, I get the MCC flights with no issue to my inbox. I use Gmail btw. I never got any Halo Infinite Insider communication to my Gmail but I was invited on Waypoint and able to get in. I think it’s potentially a issue with their email platform. I’ve run into issues with mass email marketing in the past with certain vendors, especially with Gmail users. I’m wondering if they use the same email vendor for their MCC and Infinite Flight communication. Seems like something is off.
I am pretty disappointed that I still haven’t gotten an email. Didn’t get one for the first flight and I’ve been an insider for years. Come to find out I got invited to the first one and never received an email. Didn’t see it appear on waypoint till after the flight was over.

Depending on your email provider the pre-selection emails can be quite delayed and/or turn up in strange folders. If you Use Gmail or Outlook, check your other folders [focused/non-focused]/inbox/junk to see if it’s hiding somewhere. Please also make sure to check other email addresses in the event you signed up/opted in using the wrong account.
Rarely an email can just not arrive. <mark>Please make sure and come back to check Halo Waypoint after 343 confirm when the flight is live. If you have an invite to the flight, you should have a DM on Halo Waypoint with the details</mark>.
I’m in the same boat as OP, haven’t recieved and email from waypoint for anything since early May and just wondered if anyone knows where in the settings I can check to find out whether I’ve unlocked a communications box?

Is it still delayed or how can I access it now? I’ve checked my email and waypoint regularly. Any info would be helpful, really looking forward to participating!

It seems that when the flight goes live (whenever that will be now) we will get a notification on halo waypoint with information on how to access the flight. I still haven’t received any kind of email same as the first infinite flight. Hopefully I won’t get the waypoint message AFTER the flight is already over (which is what happened last time)

Shouldn’t every Insider be invited to both this and next weekend’s flights? The post they put out said that everyone whose is Insider by a certain date would be able to join. I got the email for both weekends, but my friend didn’t get anything and he has been and Insider longer than I have

Same I’ve been a insider for a long time and didn’t get an email for the last one or the current one. But it says I was invited to the first flight after the flight had already ended.
Invites to the Halo Infinite tech preview will be rolling out later this afternoon (23rd September) [PST - this could be anywhere from 1 to 5ish hours from now] when the build becomes available for pre-loading. This will include a DM in your Halo Waypoint Message Inbox with all the links to download/install instructions on the Halo Insider Support Site and access to any Steam Keys [if applicable] on your Halo Waypoint Insider Profile [be sure and check that they are for Infinite and not MCC].
Access to the game will turn on tomorrow morning with the first PVP flight starting Friday, September 24 @ 10am PST

For sure. Download the Xbox insider hub from the Xbox store. From my understanding, if you’re invited you can then download the Halo Infinite Flight from that menu. That’s what I did last time. I went to that “game” because it was still on my Xbox and I had an update today! Yay. It did tell me my account doesn’t have access when I loaded in but I’m hoping that’s because it hasn’t officially gone live yet. Hope that helps.
