Missing content after my pc is rebooted

Hi,

First of all, I’m using the Shadow Pc service
I’m using a fresh installation of windows 10, installing the Xbox app in Microsoft store.
Then after loging in with my gamepass ultimate, I install Halo MCC and it’s downloading about 110 Gb
If I wait for it to be installed then I can play perfectly any content

The problem occurs when I’m rebooting my cloud pc (aka lefting the streaming and disconnecting so that shadow automatically shuts down)
If I run Halo mcc again, I’m having the missing content error so I can’t play campaign not multiplayer: if I go to the content management menu in the game, I see that everything is already installed.

I tried to uninstall and install again but that time it’s only downloading 87,2Gb and I’m having the same problem

The only workaround that I found is to ask shadow to factor reset the pc and have a clean windows 10 again

Alright found a fix on another thread, here it is :

So I called up Microsoft and they helped me! It works now. Here are the steps…

Lets start with the obvious, First make sure everything is updated (windows and game)

Run this command in Powershell

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

press Win+R and run this file WSReset.exe (Clear Store Cache for Default Apps)

download and install CCleaner and run registry cleaner

I think the last one did the fix I had a fresh win 10 install and somehow had a bunch of missing dlls

after that the game was working :smiley:

Hope this helps the next poor soul
