So I beat the game solo legendary and it probably took me 10+ hrs. Heroes rise (every mission heroic) Forging a legend (every mission legendary) Lone Wolf (every mission solo legendary) and gravelord (collect all skulls) are all glitched. In the menus I have every skull and every mission is completed on legendary, in the achievement menus heroes rise, forging a legend, and lone wolf are at 86%. Gravelord is at 69%.
It’s kind of annoying that this happened. Its even more annoying that I cant see which ones aren’t registering, is there anything I can do?
I’ve tried hard resetting my xbox, did nothing. Also in my service record it shows that I have every skull and have beat every mission on solo legendary. I don’t really want to do the whole thing over. Is there no way to see which ones aren’t counting?
There is no way to see which ones aren’t counting. Unfortunately, you’ll have to go through them again until you find the ones you’re missing. I think there was an achievement for beating that one mission with 2 or 3 wardens at the end on legendary without dying – I had to complete that a few times before it unlocked.
Thanks for at least replying. This seems to be a very common problem and its pretty disappointing that no one from microsoft or 343 seems to have ever addressed it in the countless threads I’ve found here and elsewhere, other than telling someone not to make two threads. I get that they’re working on infinite and mcc, but halo is like the flagship microsoft game and a little more qc and care would go a long way in the future. I know bugs happen and thats acceptable to some degree, but they shouldn’t just go ignored and unaddressed.

I did not think that this was some sort of xbox live issue, so I didn’t want to wait the 72 hrs as the support says there. I’ve had issues with achievements in mcc as well. I figured that some things just weren’t registering for whatever reason.
The achievement for completing every level on heroic did eventually pop on its own, although there was no notification or anything. A shame, because I was completing levels on heroic to see if I could get that counter to move, and if it did I would know that that’s the level that didn’t work on legendary. One mission did move the tracker on heroic and I figured it was probably that one and the one after since I was missing two. It was reunion and swords of sanghelios, I had to recomplete both on legendary (although I am 100% sure that both in game and on my service record, every single mission was marked as completed on legendary.)
The skulls that didn’t count were the ones on evacuation and reunion, and genesis.
This was extremely frustrating. I mean legendary took a lot of work, I do enjoy gaming but achievements are a nice way to know I’ve really gotten the most out of a game and I do enjoy those too. I hope maybe someone can find this in the future and it could be of some use to them. while you’re playing, check the achievement tracker after every level so you know which ones aren’t counting.
I also hope that 343 and microsoft can learn from mcc and listen to their fanbase in the future. Ya know, test these things. Achievement issues seem to happen a lot in h5 and mcc, and they should at least address them
