First it was the emblem in MCC. Lost that one even though I was a day one buyer simply because I didn’t bash my head into a wall trying to play on day one. Now it’s the HCS skins. Skins that were only available apparently for three days. Such a fantastic time frame.
Feels like unless I’m stalking this website and the Twitter feed that I’m going to miss something cool. And it’s not making me want to ‘try harder and get into Halo more and make it the game that I never take out of my console.’ Instead it feels like I’m being pushed away.
Can we please, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE have better communication about these events? And longer periods of availability? Lord knows that you’re not going to make the REQ pack available again.

Yeah I saw the twitter announcements back on the 3rd.
Convenient that the offer ended three days later. Also convenient that they still have the splash page for HCS up. The splash page that still says even now, ‘Stay tuned!’ I was tuned. For days with nothing. So I stop religiously checking.
As for notifications through XBL, where were they specifically? What were they specifically? Because I saw nothing. I heard nothing. So where was it?
