Why was there no Halo at all on the showcase?
It is or was xbox strongest franchise, do you let it die?
Or don’t you have anything to show?

But i am still kinda optimistic, took you only four years to fix the MCC. So maybe after four years halo infinite will be a stable game with content. Good luck 343.
What do they have to show? they are working on what the presented in the roadmap. They don’t have anyhting else finished enough to show. Any expectation of Halo showing up was far-fetched and hopium-fueled.
Does it suck that that is where we are at? totally. But i’d rather they try to improve the game rather than show up on a showcase with nothing new and pretending that its something to show off
I expect a finished and working product after i payed 60 bucks for it. Not a ducktaped mess.

But when Halo showcases are concerned, don’t they typically show it off on their own channels?
Xbox would have had a whole part of the showcase for Halo if 343 had something to share. But otherwise in the year, yes 343 would show Halo content on their Halo channel.
Me too man. But we dont have that game unfortunately. I’m as pissed as many other fans are, but I respect them not over promising at this point. We got a roadmap that was very conservative in its goals and if they meet those goals (and hopefully contract or employ more staff to jumpstart into year 2) they will gain quite a bit of good faith back.
Unfortunately for us now, we don’t get new content showcased.
It would have been so cool to see Joe Staten on stage showing off a remade map, then saying “its available now” and they snuck it in with the "drop pod (patch) due today.
What a missed opportunity, what a let down.
Oh well, at least they continue to diversify the fanbase by appealing to the fall guys players…

Haha, they’ve announced another week of fracture right after the end of the showcase as if that passes for new content. Nice try, but people are not stupid.
I would never have a go at the devs, as I like the game. But strategically halo infinite has been a colossal failure. How could management lack the foresight to see that they needed a plan in place post launch. It’s like they just thought that once it was released they are done… which would have been the case if they released a full game and didn’t indicate that this was a live service game.
Definitely not Xbox’s strongest franchise anymore.
It’s hard to say Xbox even has a flagship franchise nowadays, it’s used more often for third party games than anything.
Imagine working at Xbox as a leadership position. You have dozens of products being worked on and you have to overlook them all.
Now imagine that most of these games you’re overlookimg are super high quality and deserve your attention in order to get them to where they need to be.
You show these different games off at the conference and they’re all very highly recieved.
Now look at 343i. You’ve given them the spotlight they need and all the oversight on earth with God’s wallet to back then up and they still can’t deliver a finished product. You’re not going to focus on this project because you know if you do, it’s going to put a bad name on Xbox.
My point is that Xbox is more than Halo, and quite frankly, all the games showed off, that aren’t Halo, look extremely good and high quality. At this point, I’m in the boat where idgaf about if Halo lives because my image of Halo has already be desecrated. Every decision 343i has made has been an utter insult to my intelligence as a fan and a human.
Probably because they don’t have anything to showcase, or know that hype isn’t what Halo Infinite needs right now. Sadly I think anyone who might have been interested in Halo Infinite already played it in the last six months.
I agree, Xbox is more then Halo.
As Nintendo is more then Mario or Zelda.
I am happy that Xbox has more franchises right now.
But still, i am a fanboy of halo since a was little back in 2002. And what i witness now, is kinda breaking my heart.
Lets return in a year again.
Maybe the game will be finished then
