missed flight test due to email spam filtering

No idea if this is the place to post this, but I don’t know where else to post.

So I just found out i was invited to the second round of fireflight testing for MCC PC. Literally today, 3 days after I had received the email. Becuase my Microsoft email account flagged the ‘@halowaypoint.com’ email address as spam.

What the -Yoink- guys? A Microsoft email address automatically filtering and marking a Microsoft product as spam? Can I get an explaination for this, please? Why in gods name is this even an issue. If I were using a different email service, I could probably understand. But considering that Halo, Xbox and all of the other copyrighted BS is all under the Microsoft branding, why has my hotmail address spam-filtered my flight invitiation? I missed out on this weekends testing period because of some backwards -Yoink- system. My email address was even confirmed when I initially set up the flighting/insider programme registration! And I damn sure know I have never, ever marked any Halo or Microsoft email address, even noreply ones, as spam and my passwords are super secure so no one has ever had access to my account.

I’m incredibly disappointed by this nonsense, i’ve been looking forward to the flight tests since the second they were announced and I had the oppertunity robbed from me because of some stupid–Yoink- email filtering by your own company.

I know 343i is a Microsoft company, but this is really not their fault since they are not in charge of any Microsoft products other than Halo. I suggest trying to chat with someone directly from Microsoft about this. Sucks that the email got marked as spam. Hopefully MS can find you a solution!
