I’ve seen in several threads mention a few times in each that people want games, more specifically H6 to support LAN. This isn’t going to happen. “LAN” is “local area network” technically to qualify as LAN it just incorporates computers being connected on a closed server with each other directly. More so in gaming it means the ability to play large multiplayer parties without the use of internet and in the setting of a local shop, home, anywhere with Elec, and TVs. A game can support LAN all it wants but XB1 doesnt have any LAN capabilities i’m aware of and XB1-XB1 is only possible through internet use. The new dubbed “project scorpio” probably wont have LAN either since this console is geared towards VR, I have read articles presuming Project Scorpio will have LAN but nothing in stone yet.
This is all basic research so i could be wrong or missed something important but the moral of the story is the only way H6 will Have LAN is if Project Scorpio has that ability or its put off untill another generation entirely. Games “support” LAN only if the console they are on already has the hardware to do so.
