A friend and I have been discussing this for quite some time now.
Ok when Miranda died Johnson placed her body in the Pelican and flew off to the Dawn.
I’m guessing he didn’t put her in the front where the Arbiter would be.
So could it be possible that if the first mission is escaping the Dawn we’ll stumble across Miranda’s floating corpse?
Just to give you an idea.
HA!
Dear lord, that picture, simple yet hilarious…
But anyway, yeah, it’s a possibility at the very least…
It was incinerated in the blast.
Or maybe he did put it in the front. The Forward Unto Dawn was a pretty large frigate.
Let’s hope the Master Chief is not a necrophiliac. It gets really lonely in space…
Johnson: Now where do I put this?
Realistically, he probably put her in a cryo-pod. This would prevent it from stinking up the place.
dude that pic scared the s*** out of me
> Let’s hope the Master Chief is not a necrophiliac. It gets really lonely in space…
HA!
Even if he was, the sick sod, he’d need some serious pent-up-youknowwhat-frustration to break through that reinforced codpiece of his…

Chief sees her, and is like “Screw this I’m a tree.”
Am I the only one who would find that somewhat creepy?

me too
Or perhaps Miranda’s body is with the Chief and can be brought back to life using more advanced technology than what was known at the time of her death?
Miranda doesn’t have to stay dead, just as Spark didn’t. Johnson and Jacob have ways of returning in my eyes.
Johnson CAN be a series of clones similar to Brute Force’s characters and Jacob could have had his consciousness converted into an AI like a certain character already named was back when he was captured by the Flood on Inst.04.
Other than Jacob, everyone else’s death isn’t “fitting” so I have no problems with them returning.
Kurt, Sam or Will returning would make their deaths meaningless, Miranda and Johnson deserve better than what they got IMO.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I’M CRACKING UP RIGHT NOW!!! Excellent thread, my good sir.

I doubt Johnson could have gotten Miranda’s body into cryo within 2 minutes. After that there’s brain damage. Also the Dawn was seen nowhere near the Citadel so I bet she’s pretty much Ben Stiller if she was revived.
Spark’s case is…unique.
Also I have no idea what the hell you’re talking about with clones.
I laughed quite hard. Maybe this could be an easter egg or something?

Bringing dead characters back to life would feel cheesy and unnecessary. I would very much rather get to know new characters and care for them rather than see the same old faces again.

By the Prophets don’t say that! Do you know now what kind of fan fics and -Yoink!- is going to be made based off that idea.
It took me 5 seconds to realize she was in the pic. Then I was like waaaat thee -Yoink-! Scary as hell.
Mad photoshop skills.

Master Chief has no -Yoink!- drive anyway, he wouldn’t.
