without getting into details, a friend of mine suffered a forum ban for a comment he feels was unfairly judged. is there any way for him to shoot an inquiry for appealing his forum ban? i’m asking because he is unable to send messages or interact in any fashion.

also: please disregard my name. i created it while i was going through some unhappy times with the religious half of my family, and while I’ve no wish to offend i also do not wish to blow money to change a gamertag.
Firstly I would VERY much advise you to blow money to change your gamertag. It is easily a bannable (Xbox and Forum) offense.
Secondly, discussion of Forum bans publicly is not allowed. Your friend can send a message to the appropriate monitor on Xbox Live.
Same situation here, best thing to do is simply serve the time, and then send a message to the moderator who banned you in the first place.

i doubt very much i’ll get banned, as my name was based on an opinion, nothing more. im not saying that people of christian belief are inferior, i simply stated my thoughts on one of their primary religious figures. that is not bigoted or racist, per se. that said it IS up to the discretion of the admins/mods/whatever in general. i’ll live with what comes 
i’ll shoot him a message regarding the bans. problem is, there’s no way to tell which moderator to chat with, since he cannot see which mod issued the ban.
anyways, i appreciate the information, and i figured public discussion wasn’t allowed, which was why i didn’t give details

Try shooting a message off on either Xbox Live or PM to Snickerdoodle or Ka Five, as these are the most active and hammer-happy moderators. They will deal with it if you ask nicely.
Do as the others suggested and shoot a pm to snickerdoodle or someone.
Seriously, if you insult the religious figure of Catholics and Christians, then you are insulting their beliefs. I am seriously advising you to change the tag.
