How do you make a mini spartan gametype? Is there any way to make a mini flood but normal Spartans gametype?

Pretty sure it started out as a Mod that 343 put into Matchmaking…says a bunch about their policy on Mods. ¬_¬
Oh, I guess something that’d work just aswell is a game type with a mini flood but normal Spartans. Also if anyone knows one with mini Spartans that might help as well.

I don’t see why people get upset over that. if it were Bungie people would think it was them reaching out to their fanbase. If it’s 343i its them failing to come up with good ideas.

I don’t think there is a possible way to recreate it, but I do know that you can save it by heading into your temporary files history and downloading it from there, much alike the weapon-tuned updated gametypes with the 110% movement speed.
If that doesn’t work (which I highly doubt), try looking in 343 Industries’ File Share or even requesting them to put the gametype in.

you could ask around the modding community to make a gametype like that. most of them are nice people who do requests.

if it wasn’t for mods we wouldnt have normal infection,slayer,ctf and other game types. IMO modding should be allowed as long that it doesnt affect matchmaking.

The gametype was origionally a mod anyway, but 343 made it official after messing with a bunch of settings. The easiest way to make a mini Spartans gametype is just to download it from recent games as I have. You’ll want to mess with the settings a bit too, as Imo I think 343 messed it up a bit.
I have a WIP custom game based off of this gametype, called Mini Halo wars. I have used it since the modded version was released and am quite pleased with the settings I use. The main difference is that it is actually possible to get assassinations (I have heard it should be possible anyway but in practice it isn’t) and player speed and jump height is relative to their size. This makes it seem much less like you are migits on speed, and more like you are simply downscaled.
If your making your own game type I would also recommend changing the assault rifle start, and use maps which are designed for the correct scale. to be honest I was quite disappointed with action sacks version of Mini slayer and believe they should make it a little less super speed spray and pray, and generally fix the gametype.
Also, If you’ve ever seen a mini Spartan assassination it looks hilarious. The Knife is the size of a frieking machete 
So we can get a useless but mildly amusing gametype like this but Race is still non-existent…
