Can we get downloadable mini campaigns as part of Halo 5’s DLC content? I think a lot of Halo fans would love to that. I think lore fans especially will miss how Spartan Ops pushed the universe forwards. Without Spartan Ops, multiplayer only exists as a simulation. And we would no longer get an episodic narrative.
At least with mini campaigns comprised of 3 or 4 original levels, they would be far less repetitive than Spartan Ops and I think they would be better received by the Halo community. We wouldn’t have to play through the same level again and each mission would feel like a part of the greater Halo story. I’d totally pay for an experience like that!
Can anybody imagine how cool an Arbiter campaign would be? We would totally play with a fireteam comprised of Thel 'Vadam, Rtas 'Vadum, N’tho 'Sraom and Usze 'Taha. I can also see far more possibilities for mini campaigns.
Yes! That’s an amazing idea. Much more like expantion packs back in the good old days. Something akin to Half Life: blue shift and Half Life: opposing force in terms of size and price would be nice.
Love this idea. Imagine playing a prequel mini campaign where you play as Johnson during Halo 2 for example, that would be great.
I’m personally not a huge fan of story based DLC, so they’d have to do something amazing to get me on board.
No Halo game has ever done campaign based DLC so maybe. But again, implementing it is a bit much.
I would be fine with that, however I would prefer a co-op based DLC. Something like spec ops in COD or co-op in BF3.
Campaigns take a ton more money to make because of the incurred expense of new animations, mocap, voice work, etc. I like the idea, but I’m afraid the quality wouldn’t match expectations.
If we could get a mini campaign on part with that of RAAM’s shadow, thst would be more than ideal, would probably make up for a new game.

Yes! That would make the game feel 10x more lively!!!
No, dont make this a destiny campaign
Wolfenstien: The Old Blood is another great example of this kinda thing done right. I’m surprised some people are against it.
