MightyApe codes and online only work in AU/NZ

I was contemplating on preordering my Halo 4 LE from mighty ape, so i emailed the help desk at Mighty ape asking whether they shipped to the UK on time and whether the game would work in the UK. A man named Andy emailed me back he said

The game itself is region free in regards to the offline play. But from what I understand the DLC and the online play is limited to only New Zealand Xbox Live memberships.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I’ve seen a lot of people from the US and UK saying they were ordering from there because they had the most bonuses. I hope they figure this out before it’s too late!

That’s a major buzzkill right there. I am from the states and was planning on netting all the bonuses there. Shame i can’t get that Locus helm now :confused:

You’re in luck! The pre-order bonus isn’t the helmet itself, just a skin for that particular helmet.

Locus should be unlockable in-game :slight_smile:

Now I feel sorry for people that have already ordered from Mighty Ape (I think that you can get your money back if you tell them that it wasnt clear about the pre-order bonuses) buuuut…

I have to say that this is pretty freaking sweet for people in NZ, I mean we never get the good/exclusive stuff here!!! Usually NZ is left out for getting any special editions/bonuses (excluding eb games which get some because its owned by gamestop).

So thank you 343 for remembering about little old New Zealand!!

If people were smart they would just wait with pre-ordering. It’s still 5 months 'till the release date. I’m waiting 'till you can pre-order Halo 4 LE in almost every shop, so I can compare the prices and exclusives.

If this is true, then i would would be satisfied. Though it should be made more clear that it’s a skin for the helmet and not the helmet itself. Kinda like this…

It is true, BS Angel confirmed it in the latest Bulletin.

Yeah, they haven’t been very clear with it all. I also think its lame that the skins are armour-specific. Don’t really understand the logic behind it…

Yeah Mightape is one of the numerous NZ websites… I was confused when people were saying they will order it from there because as a NZer I knew this would happen…

Hello everyone. I am here to confirm that this is possibly NOT TRUE. As of 12:55 today. I entered my Venator and Locus Helm codes both sucsessfully downloaded to my system. I live the US. In Oregon.
