The new era of Halo doesn’t belong for me and fans like myself. The codification of Halo is just too far. I would rather have Halo have an annual release with minor changes from trilogy Halo, instead of Reach and 4.

May 343 redeem themselves with Halo 5 or just cut the life support of Halo completely.

May Bungie redeem themselves with ‘Destiny’ and place the last nail in Trilogy Halo’s Coffin.

May ‘Destiny’ take Halo’s mantle.

May the next-gen Halo fans find the same love for Halo I had in my childhood and continue the battle against Call of Duty.

Team Throwdown and episodes 6-10 Spops are the only things keeping hope alive for Halo 4 BETA.

343 listen to the community and understand their point view. By community, I mean the fans who have great ideas and knowledge of Halo with arguments that make sense. Blind Fanboyism is only entertaining when it’s against CoD.

May the Halo Competitive-Casual Schism end.

If not, may the true fans continue the Exodus to games that the sequels improve over their predecessors.

Yet another thread… do you want people to come and stroke your ego too and agree with everything you say? And then people jump in to spread their love of the game? What can be said that hasn’t already been said by dozens of others in three months?

No body cares that you’re leaving. People if you want to leave please leave, but don’t waste your time or ours and clutter up the forums with this crap.

Also why do people keep bringing up Destiny saying that it might “dethrone” Halo as if you are trying to say it’ll be the game Halo 4 should have been. Bungie is already on the record saying that Destiny is nothing like Halo and is more of a casual and cooperative experience.

I’m sorry, I believe you’re under the false impression that we care about you, or your decision to leave Halo.

I just find it so terribly annoying when they make threads about leaving Halo, saying that they are “competitive” players, or even worse, MLG players, and that Halo is now for casual players. Is that supposed to be an offense? We laugh at MLG players because they believe they have achieved something in life by playing video games.

And seriously? Annual Halo games? Now, that would be something terrible for Halo.

They measure their worth by a video game. My nephew has done that.

It is sad that when they are offended they revert to a video game statistic that justifies their continued perception of what they want to be good at and focus on. And when that changes, their world view is shaken.

I feel sorry for those who justify themselves through the medium of a video game.
