I’m voicing serious concerns about the game that I would like to see changed or at least an attempt, but as you do not seem to listen or care I’ll restate them in a way appropriate to the forums.
I would LOVE for the Devs to at least acknowledge this request.
Create a new, FREE map made specifically for forging, with new items to
build with.
Create a “Social” type playlist with the feel of Reach and 3. Playlist should include original slayer and other classic gamemodes w/o armor abilities, loadouts, killcams, or Ordinance Drops.
Repeat #2 except with a ranked playlist featuring same items. Note when I
say ranked I don’t mean XP-based, I mean you get ranked according to your
skill.
That is my intent with this post. So see, I’m not switching accounts to attack anyone. Just would like to see what I stated in OP. Sorry if I came off as a dink, but it’s just I’ve been playing Halo since Halo 2 and I have such a dis-taste for Call of Duty that it just really upsets me to see a game I had so high expectations for, not meet them. I do realize that this is their first crack at Halo, and I do understand that. They are trying to please everyone, not just us vets. It’s just hard for me to not feel like I got screwed over along with every other vet.
You were banned for that… yeah, the mods around here suck imo. I’m not about to complain because I actually deserved at least one of them, and I can understand how, thanks to the word filter, my post was misunderstood… but banning me because I replied to something that was offtopic? Wow.
That said, your thread did deserve to be closed; you can’t get any more unconstructive than that.

Reading through, yeah it really seems like it. I guess if I were part of the Halo team though, I would like to hear both sides, constructive or not. You can’t please everyone, but it helps to hear people (who can speak in complete sentences and use proper English, mind you) say what they think once in awhile. Either way, there is plenty of b**** threads right now so it’s just why single me out when you let others live?
Anyways, I just really feel that the true Halo veterans were left out when it comes to multiplayer.

There is the problem. If they try to please group A, group B gets angry. If they try to please group B, group A gets angry. If they try to please both A and B, well they piss everyone off equally.
Truth is, not everyone will be happy with this game nor any game no matter who makes it. But like you said and I have been saying, this is a new company in charge. This is not Bungie anymore. People are so used to the way Bungie made it over the past 10 years that when a new company comes along to take over, they dont want to have to change their playstyle from how they were for years. Only problem with this is that if they keep making the same game year after year, less people will want to play because no one would want to play the same game year after year.
Its just a new company trying to move forward in their own way and people need to let go of the way Bungie used to do it because that is all in the past now. This is a new game with a new company and people just need to learn to adapt to the new way of things. If there is 1 thing I know about the gaming community when it comes to a franchise, its how people hate when the game changes even though they say they want something new. Yes they want something new, but not so much as it changes the way they used to play just because it makes things more interesting.
this game still feels more like halo than it does cod. granted it’s a bit more plushy than before, but it has far more potential too; the sandbox has more variety and is better ballanced than in any other edition.

I didn’t say I expected Halo 4 to be the same as previous games. I’m only saying that the multiplayer feels hastily thrown together to make up for time spent on the story. No other company can live up to Bungie’s original vision, and no true Halo fan will expect them to. The campaign was amazing, Forward Unto Dawn was great, Spartan Ops is pretty cool, but I feel that the multiplayer should at least have some recognition for the vets. Subjectively, the multiplayer is as amazing as the rest of the game. But at this point I would like to see what was stated in OP.

Oh, I am not saying that about you. I was just saying this because this is how it is regardless. The majority of players that are so used to the way things were under a different company for the past decade, are less likely to be forgiving because they are used to the OLD way and dont want that much change. Like I said, they may “say” they want change but in reality they only want maybe 1 or 2 things changed because that is all they can handle at a time.

Definately, but those people will leave and you and I will still be around when they kick out Halo 5. I’m a lifer, no matter who’s at the captains helm, be it 343 or whoever else. Sadly, I highly doubt anything will be even attempted because of the way I came off in my original thread (pastebin link). Oh well.
They don’t release all game types the first week of the game. You need to wait and many more will be released. Also, as many have said, your title makes no sense compared to your post. Unless they IP ban for impatience.

…pretty sure A ToplessZombie was the only one to mention that, and you fail to catch the point behind the OP…
I doubt you will ever get a ranked playlist, but with the game less than a week into launch you can’t expect niche playlist this early. Not to mention they are currently working on a skill based rank that is going to be displayed on waypoint, on top of their importnat projects, like maps and future games.
