Middle of screen game action scores

I’ve been annoyed by this for some time and surprised there’s been no complaint thread that I’ve seen about it considering other rage threads that have run their course.

Is anyone like me and annoyed with the scores of your kills, assists, etc. flashing up on the middle of the screen?

343, if you see this, I would like it if you would change this by lowering the on-screen scoring like how BF3 does it or wherever you would like it, as long as it’s not in the damn middle of the screen where I’m looking all the time.

I find it very distracting in every gameplay video I’ve watched and don’t look forward to it when I finally get to play.

I agree, it was really distracting when I played.

Meh…I thought it would be annoying, but it actually just dissappeared into the backgroud for me after a bit. You forget it is there when youre playing. Its better than a giant killfeed off to the side that takes up half the hud like the one in Reach. Plus when they pop up, they go away really quick

You want even notice it after a couple of games

I hope you’re right, but I doubt it. I’m detail-oriented and vain to aesthetics and will know it’s there every time.

But I hope to be wrong.

it’ll be the same as scoring in campaign I bet, you’ll ignore it easily.

Give me the option to turn it off.

I believe there is?

its like nothing dude really to complain about that is ridiculous

I’m gutted that they have all those pop ups and UI even for blindingly obvious things yet removed the secondary weapon and ammo count like in Reach.

knowing how much ammo you have in both of your weapons at all times is super useful.

…telling me I got a headshot when I am already aware I’m shooting another guy in his head… not so much

no they had this in FF and in GOW and it drives my bonkers and is REAALLLLY distracting.

who give a -Yoink- about points

I doubt this will really be a problem. Other games have this.

I love that their reasoning for this was to have a less cluttered HUD and now they start putting extra stuff in the middle of the screen…
