On top of the 1 bilions problems, I just experimented a new problem. I was playing casually on Catalyst, quick play odd ball, was trying to do a challenge to kill 5 players with plasma or spike grenade. I was at 4 on 5, and suddenly the screen went black and I was back on the game mode selection screen, no error, no message, no notification, nothing.

Same thing happened to me today. Almost done a ranked matched and screen went black and exited back out to the main Xbox menu.

In other words your game crashed. Yeah its a big issue on pc. Never heard that it was on xbox too
My Xbox series X has crashed 2 or 3 times since the games release, funny I’ve never crashed on any other game titles.
This happened to me yesterday and was frustrating because I need cumulative score in rumble pit and had loads of kills.
It just exited to the playlist screen saying my connection to the server had been lost.
None of the score from that game counted for the challenge.
I’m on series x by the way, not pc.
It didn’t crash, like it did not boot me out of the whole game, just booted me out of the match, and I didn’t get any message saying I got disconnected from servers
