Yeah doesnt that say something? Its a mid day saturday on a holiday weekend that most colleges and high schools have off and theres not even 100k online. Thats just sad and i think it speaks for itself
No ranked playlists.
There’s your reason.
Right now, there are millions of people in prisons. Not too sure that prison is better than Halo 4.

I don’t think casuals care about a ranked playlist.
Halo 4 was on sale for really cheap at most Black Friday retailers. Theoretically, there should be a TON of people on MM right now.
It’s a holiday weekend where people spend time with their friends and families, not on video games.
Black Friday was yesterday, meaning that it stands to reason a lot of the Halo 4 playerbase bought games yesterday and are playing those instead.

What this guy said. Plus, numbers dont matter. Get over it.
I for one don’t give a flying -Yoink- if.there’s 100,000 or 1,000,000 online as long.as I can find a game and or play with friends.

This.
I’m at my parent’s house for the holiday. I didn’t bring my Xbox with me because, you know, I figured it’s a weekend to spend time with my family. Just because people have a few extra days off doesn’t automatically mean they’re going to spend all that extra time playing more video games.

so you’d rather halo not be more popular? to you the bare minimum of finding games and the extreme of halo being one of the most succesful shooters ever makes no difference to you in any capacity? you have no desire to see it acquire more fans?
Im simpily saying they failed to make a decent game and its reflecting in sales and gameplay now.
Right, because they wouldn’t be hanging out with their family or anything.
Sad but true. 343i did not deliver with H4. People don’t wanna play Halo: Call Of Duty. They wanna play real Halo.
Why does Call of Duty have huge population numbers? The game has a refined formula and everytime CoD fans buy the game, they know what to expect. Imagine what would happen if Jetpack was added to Call of Duty. CoD fans would freak out, and they probably wouldn’t play the game anymore.

Yep, $220 million in the opening week is an utter disaster. Absolutely no one wants this game…

Lolz. Pop on over the the CoD forums sometime…
November 6, 2012 (Halo 4 releases)- An average of 400,000 people online.
November 13, 2012 (Call of Duty: Black Ops II releases)- an average of 200,000 people online.
Does this answer your question?
P.S Why 343 made such a risky move as to release Halo 4 a week before Black Ops II is beyond me.

Thats just $60 million away from the 2009 record of “biggest entertaiment launch of all time”(which was held by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and broke Grand Theft Auto IV’s record in 2008), I call that a success for a game that only comes out on one console.

Lol no ranked playlist is clearly not the reason, if that where the case then 0 would be playing CoD games. Sure Blops 2 and CoD 3 has a ranked playlist but you get my point.

Good think COD was never meant to be played at a super competitive level hence why they never needed ranked before. Halo always used to be the most competitive FPS on the console market, and that is why people liked it so much. Halo 4 is anything but competitive.
