Microtransactions That Require OTHER Microtransactions

Not only is there Reach armour in the shop already, but it’s a store item that requres a separate purchase. “Willing to spend 7 dollars on those shoulders? Oh, sorry bud, you need the battle pass, otherwise you can’t access the armour core for these shoulders. That’ll be another 10 bucks or your money is wasted!” I thought insulting players who questioned the balance of REQ packs in Warzone was bad, but this is a new low for the franchise. This is why they restrict armours for specific cores. Not because it’s necessary, but because it allows them to do stuff like this.

Also, if the Tactical Ops event that was leaked is real, and is when we get SWAT and it’s a limited mode, I’m officially done. Not only is it a long wait for a mode you can recreate in custom games in a few minutes (assuming it actually saves the changes), but it’s a staple. You want me to wait til February just so I can play it for only a week? No. Just put the modes in the game. You have the playerbase to maintain populations for various modes and playlists. This practice of bringing back popular modes to promote more microtransactions, just to yank them after a week, is just absurd (especially with how little modes we have as a base). I know the devs care a lot, but it doesn’t feel like the company does. It feels like 343 didn’t have confidence in the full success, and went as aggressive as possible to recoup as much of their money as possible.
