Infinite is what it is with its microtransactions. Please leave us MCC players out of it.
If you want to make money off of MCC, then release paid DLC, as long as it’s real content. I would have happily paid for Flood FF, and I would happily purchase future content updates like maps and modes.
If the reason for putting them in is that players just don’t have enough time to unlock everything, then why not just make it easier to unlock everything? We’re not so naïve.
I know I don’t speak for everyone, but I think I speak for most when I say please do not put microtransactions in MCC.
I’d pay for the entirety of Halo 2’s maps remade for H2A without a second thought.
I’d even be willing to pay for the remaining Halo Online maps for Halo 3 (Reactor, Skybridge, Diamondback, Drydock, Powerhouse, Abeyance, Requiem Lockout) and ODST (Beachhead)
but Microtransactions for a cosmetic system that THEY THEMSELVES CAN ADJUST TO HAVE LESS GRIND is a disgusting practice. its exploitation of what little good will they’ve been holding onto since Halo Infinite launched and they cancelled seasons 9 and 10. nobody should support this direction ever.
This. I’d’ve bought Flood FF or more remade maps like others suggest. Hell, I’d pay for ODST multiplayer if it was available. But cosmetics, unless they’re tied to a map pack or something (which isn’t preferable but I get sometimes they want to ‘sweeten the deal’), should never be something to be sold.
343 needs to learn that us MCC players aren’t high on delusions the game will get better, we like it where it’s at now, we won’t be as easily steam rolled as the Infinite playerbase who are living on copium day by day.

I’ll admit I wasn’t a fan of the REQ pack thing from Halo 5, or should I call it “Loot Boxes”, but at least you had the ability to purchase them and unlock cosmetics for free when you earned enough in-game credits by playing the game. Even then it was way better than Halo Infinite’s take on the whole microtransactions BS.
Since 343 is struggling with ideas, the only possible price that I could see as being even remotely reasonable is if $5 is worth 100 “Spartan Points.” That would be enough for an entire “Season” of content. There’s 8 seasons and the base price is around $40. So $40 (base) + $40 (8 Seasons * $5 each) = $80, which would be the price of a premium game that came with DLC content with as much value as a Season pass. At the very least, it would be a much better value than the garbage that Halo Infinite is pushing out.
I would like to reiterate, I absolutely, positively do NOT want ANY microtransactions into MCC in any capacity whatsoever. This is a backup plan in case our objections fall on deaf ears, and I worry that they will.
That is accurate though, supports job is to catch gameplay issues, not take feedback on moronic decisions being made by the executive level of the company.
Like, they’re capable of handling issues such as the missing H:O Elite waist armor, or the Spartan Hands breaking and clipping through the hand armor, but they aren’t really able to undo a bonehead decision if its intended behavior, or an upcoming feature being considered
Yeah. I remember the Legendary Map Pack for Halo 3 was $10 and we only got 3 maps with that. I mean if we were getting the same amount of maps with original assets (maybe with new Forge items too that are added to the shared.map so we can use them in other maps) I’d absolutely buy it.
