This shouldn’t even be considered for MCC. If you want something you should have to earn it. There’s no FOMO in MCC, so you can take all the time in the world to grind it out.

Why, I have no idea. The easier and more rewarding solution is to instead give the player more points for similar or easier tasks.
If the intent was to improve the player experience, of course.
I stopped buying gold subscriptions and games for xbox after mcc launch disaster and passed to sony. I will never return until halo and gears return to their gold days but for what i have seen until now i think it will be near impossible. Once games were made with love, today xbox mentality is making games ONLY, and i repeat ONLY, for profit. They don’t care anymore about doing good games.
Because you ruin the gameplay of halo 3 and reach. They were intended to complete achiviements, missions and ranks to unlock armor pieces. Now they take away the fun offering an easy way by spending money to get armors. The feeling of reward to earn an armor set disappears for this reason.

And still have more funny games than xbox with no mtx policy. What i did is because xbox betrayed their fanbase with halo and gears of war and can’t have trust anymore.
I think i’m not the only one and a lot of people followed my example because when you show you only care about milking your fanbase this is what you get back
I think this is the main reason xbox one failed so bad, 'cause people felt robbed after spending 300 for new console + 50 for a broken game like mcc

And yeah I feel ya, sucks games have lost so much quality now and are just for cash grabs. Dumb thing is now IP games are looking worse than Mobil games who use dummy-thicc booty for an add lmao.

I’m already playing offline every week, i used free trial 48h gold subs of my old 360 games when i needed but as today they still haven’t convinced me to buy back a full gold subscription
