I’m not really sure how else to provide feedback other than here, so here it goes:
Locking armor touted for the Reach Battlepass is an ethical failure on the business side of 343. You simply can’t advertise the battlepass as being for Reach content and then paywall half of it.
Furthermore, beyond just the MK V core, there’s barely any “non-premium” content available for the MK VII or Yoroi core. That’s simply unacceptable. Especially considering all the developer and team interviews touting “millions of day-one customization options”.
I’ll admit to buying a skin and some armor pieces, which makes me a part of the problem. It still feels like a moral failure on my part to be contributing to this system designed to gate content that has been part of Halo Reach and the MCC for the better part of 10+ years.
For Christs’ sake, locking even the default character model knife from Reach behind a paywall? Are you serious?
