The point for Halo: MCC’s progression system is to showoff who has been hard at work earning all these cool interesting armors, skins & effects like how old school Halo was like. Instead of adding something controversial to Halo: MCC that may ruin its review scores or even worse make people leave outright due to greed why not look at how we earn season points in-game instead of monetizing and trivializing accomplishments? Why not instead of monetization we earn season points from ranking up all the time instead of having an early rank cap? Make easier challenges (blue tier) give 0.5 season points or 1 point even for each accomplished? Have season points also tied to achievements? Make Tactical Exercises matter even more by upgrading them to 3-5 points depending on difficulty? Halo: MCC is a game we already paid for and we don’t want to have to do that again once we got all the 6 games bought. Like Halo 5: Guardians what’s the point looking cool if you just bought it instead of earning it. This is one of the major reasons why Halo: Infinite got hit so hard and it will be Halo: MCC’s downfall as well if you continue to be tone deaf 343i.
