Microsoft

I know I can not be the only one that is fed up with Microsoft and there new, completely flawed reputation system. It’s only negative. You can’t prefer someone. You can only report bad things. Not only that, the enforcement team only sends links and automated messages for the most part and do not even answer questions directly. I feel like that is not valuing their customers at all. We pay money for membership privileges and because of a completely flawed reputation system which they claim to be resilient not only stops us from finding games but then they want you to make a new account or buy new games and play them online to heal your reputation. And there are those people who just comment on stuff like this saying “you were probably a jerk” but when it all boils down to it I feel like most reports people submit are false and because they are less skilled at a game than you are and they don’t want to have to play against you.

I’m scared now, of losing my stuff.

You just sounds salty. How do you know the system on 360 even did anything? As far as i’m concerned, it was all for show. At least they lay out for us how it all works now. And there’s no way to really quantify the success of a reputation system other than how happy the players are on Xbox Live. I’ve been happy on my Xbox One, so I’ll just trust Microsoft to make a good ystem. If you are having an issue with it, go to the Playstation and see if it’s any better. Oh wait, they don’t have Halo…

I have to agree with the OP. This definitely has the feel of “the man keeping us down.” I don’t know if it was a plain old bad idea, or just a bad implementation of a good one. Either way, there’s work to be done. My personal feeling is that they absolutely should observe behaviors and group players accordingly, but they should not rely on players to police one and other, and they should not try to make the system punitive by making it visible.
