It kind of sucks for Microsoft that, having been forced to debunk this hoax, they can no longer make November 21 the actual release date–or if they did, it would be slightly embarrassing on their part. It makes one wonder whether, by performing more of these hoaxes, you could deliberately box Microsoft into a certain time period in which to release the game.
Edit: Please don’t take this as a condonation for instituting future hoaxes. If you do, I shall get into trouble, and nobody wants that. Well, I don’t want that.
I like the way the guy above me thinks.
Now, that’s information I believe is true. Why? Because it came from a Microsoft Employee, not some random person on the internet.

Obviously there going to talk about it on Wednesday. It would be stupid not to. Plus we know nothing about it.

My point exactly. Now say (if you’ll permit me the exaggeration) that every day in November has been alluded to by some hoax or other, except (for example) November 18th. Does this then mean that Microsoft will be forced to release the game on that date, or in another month entirely?

I think by that point, its assured that everyone will know that all the time frames are hoaxes and everyone who hoaxed them is just guessing at the month.

Oh my god. They could hold Microsoft hostage. They could say “we’ll give you November ? if you do something for us, otherwise you’ll have to face massive embarrassment.”
No offense, but they’ve essentially been saying “Stay tuned” for more actual info since the day they announced the trilogy. Since then, we’ve seen no actual gameplay or even actual info about the gameplay.

I’m just going to assume there’s nothing at the upcoming Microsoft thing. It’d simply be too considerate of them to either directly confirm or deny it. I’m not wasting my time hoping any more.
