So I’m new to the whole Microsoft Rewards thing and I’m looking at the potential rewards. A one-month Xbox Live Gold membership can be acquired for 5,600 with a 12-month one being 24,000.
So to clarify, I have 367 points at the moment and I only need to meet the required amounts and I can snag myself a membership simply for searching for things on Bing? No strings attached?
Yep! May take a bit of time. However, if you try to milk out as many points as you can per day, you can snag yourself a reward rather quickly.
Edit: Also, in case you haven’t yet, download the Microsoft Rewards app on your Xbox One. I found it easy to check my points earned in a day. I believe it should be available for everyone. Not entirely sure though.

Its everyone, theres even a little icon on my dash telling me to download it right now
No string attached OP. I’m sitting with enough points right now to get a £25 Xbox gift card and I redeemed a 3 month Groove subscription last year
As well as searching there are a few other things you can do to increase your points - like daily quizzes, interacting with emails and since Xbox rewards is now MS rewards you can buy a speific movie or game every month for a points bonus. I think the last one was Cup head and it gave you something like 5000 points. Current one is Attack on Titan for 6000
Normally the 12 month xbox gold membership is 29,000 points. It’s on sale right now for 24,000. I have over 29,000 and asked xbox support if I could stack memberships because mine won’t expire until November. They said wait until the current one expires. It will reset my membership to the day I redeemed it, I would lose the months from today until November.
If you use bing go the rewards page. It gives you quizzes and other things to get quick points.

Have you tried to stack the 12 month? I was able to stack 6 months of gold between three one months and one six month.

No I haven’t tried stacking the 12 month. I was going to buy the 12 with my points while it was on sale and stack them, but I thought what if it doesn’t work and I lose almost a year of saving rewards, so I called MS Support. He told me not to do it until my current membership expires.
yeah! one of my coworkers just told me about this a little while ago. Get the bing app on your phone, and on the bus or while waiting for someone, do some of the quizzes and search a few things to earn some easy points. It’s free. I’m saving up for an xbox gift card so I can get some dlc for a game.
