Microsoft buys Halo 7-9 domain names

Microsoft has bought the domain names for Halo 7-9. Are they really planning this far ahead?

I sincerely doubt the ability of Master Chief to hold my interest for a third trilogy. Not saying it’s impossible, as Link and Mario have done it. But I don’t like the odds.

I think the 3rd Trilogy will be where the Precusors will enter the games, seeing how they are slowly becoming a larger and larger presence.

It should definitely be no Chief in 3rd Trilogy. New main character. Bornstellar-Didact would be cool.

So you are saying there isn’t enough room to introduce Precursor in Reclaimer trilogy?

I don’t doubt that they will introduce the Precursors at the end of the trilogy with a huge cliffhanger making the anticipation for the next trilogy to increase. But hell we’ll see what happens.

Re-read your link. “Brand Protection Company”. This was done long ago to prevent the -Yoink–storm that was “Halo4beta.tk” and all that malarkey.

There will not be Halo 7,8 & 9.

But, of course if it were to happen, I’d like to travel back in the Halo timeline and fight from Reach to Halo 3 all over again… from the Covenant point of view.
