They aren’t putting as much money into Halo as they should. They could make it better, more advertisments, better people to make the game and lots more if they put a few billion into it because they can afford it.

Something Microsoft has a lot of. They took over yahoo search and put it into bing or something for 50 billion dollars so why not put a few billion into halo?

There is a big difference between a constant, year-round revenue-haven and a video game franchise.
I have to admit that marketing has not lived up to the marketing of Halo 2, though.
I imagine the 343 probably have the largest or one of the largest dev budgets of any studio in the world.
I can only imagine Valve or Blizzard possibly having higher budgets.

They would never make the money back! To date the ENTIRE Halo series has only made 1.5 Billion Dollars in revenue. That includes Games, Books, the Anime… EVERYTHING.
There is no need to spend a Billion Dollars on Halo 4, when they spent 35Million on Halo 3
Kid, its not even possible to even put a billion dollars into a game. maybe a few million dollars for employees, computers, im guessing cause i dont really know.

A billion is way too much, but considering the Halo franchise has grossed around 2 billion, they should at least put more into advertising instead of using money to get timed exclusive DLC for certain games.
