Are you fricken kidding me? How much more money do
you need from us? This a complete joke. We pay 60 bucks
for the game and only able to play 6 or maps to beging with.
Then we have to buy the map packs which was 25 bucks. So we
are up to 85 bucks on a game already. And now 343 is talking about
having micro-transactions for a small fee. Give me a break. This crap should
have been included with the game already.
I don’t see what the issue is, if you don’t want the extra items, don’t purchase them.
They are there for two reasons:
- To make money
- To please those who like more customization
Nobody is forcing you to buy them.
Well I had to pay $120 for my Limited Edition, so you don’t have it that bad.
You are going to be forced to buy them
when they give other players the advantage.
And I feel bad for the people who bought the LE.
Once again the Halo community’s yoinking knows no bounds.
It’s a non-issue. If you want the stuff buy it, if not, don’t buy it. No harm, no foul.

Who says you are going to be forced to buy them?
The article specifically says “cosmetic items”, these won’t affect gameplay at all unless seeing a pink Battle Rifle is so stunning you need to stop and look at it.
slaps op upside the head
they’re just skins like the ones we unlock from leveling up.
I’m all for microtransactions if it means I get can get my “Kingslayer” emblem and Commando armor without grinding.
Even more so if they add brand new weapon and armor skins, or better yet, new armor types like CQB, ODST, or Mark V.
There’s other possibilities as well… new weapon skins, maybe? I wouldn’t mind having a “Desert” skin for the DMR to match my armor colors… or maybe have more armors with the “Forest” Skin? I’m not a big fan of the Halo 4 HAZOP armor, but I would love to have the Forest skin for say… Scout. Or Recon. Or Engineer (my personal favorite).
I would pay to complete my armory, because I am an armor freak. Or at least to have Deadeye.
OP: Stop complaining unreasonably, please. Nobody is going to be forced to buy anything. It is not like you are going to buy a Binary rifle for your Loadout…
Before launch, everyone complained about the preorder bonuses being exclusive and wanted 343 to make them available for sale later.
Now that it’s a possibility, everyone complains that they just want money.
Can’t have it both ways.
Eh. Hi. Sorry to be a burden but I’ve been out of the loop for quite some time. What is all this 'bout micro transactions?
How bout instead of them worrying about Micro-trans, they worry about fixing their game first, then do whatever…

That’s what I do with my meat to your mom’s face
Micro-transactions are when they decide to keep stuff out of the game
and put I price on them. So people would be forced to pay instead
of it being included with the purchase of the game. Just another
scam to get your money. I guess everyone is fine dumping tons of
money on a game instead of expecting things to be included with the
game.

I’ve been wanting Locus helmet since the day I saw it. I’ve been wanting it since the day Halo 4 came out. I’ve been wanting it long before I figured out that Halo 4 needs some fixing.
Sorry, but my Locus helmet is long overdue. My Microsoft Points (money/wallet/whatever) is waiting.
And besides, they’re fixing the game at the same time.

343 did some dumb things. however, they are not that dumb.
An employee on neogaf already said no to it in halo 4.
Aren’t all purchases made with Microsoft Points micro-transactions?
I don’t get it, most avatar gear, themes, DLC etc. is already done this way.
Why is this even an issue?
Buying map packs for a game aren’t micro-transactions.
> Why is this even an issue?
Because the Halo community likes to winge and moan like no other
> Buying map packs for a game aren’t micro-transactions.
Only because they are slightly larger addons for slightly more money. Why a larger number of slightly smaller transactions is suddenly outrageous compared to map packs is beyond me.
