Trying to play halo co op…problem is I can hear the other player just fine…but he can’t hear me! My mic is brand new…any ideas?

You have to play with your settings a lot for your initial mic setup. Make sure he hasn’t muted you, make sure everything on your end is right - it’s a process.
Try testing your mic in party chat. While you’re speaking, pay attention to the ring around your gamerpic. If you see it flashing, your mic is working fine. Still, you’ll have to mess around with your settings.
It is also important to note that people in game chat cannot hear anyone in party chat, and vise versa.
