So I just realized that all of the new McFarlane Series 2 action figures are out now. I wanted to ask; do any of the new weapon skins or armor skins work in Spartan Ops? The Champions DLC content doesn’t work in Spartan Ops, I know that… but I’m wondering if 343i made an exception for these items.
I was looking forward to getting the Scout “TOXIC” armor skin and the “CHILL” and “ENGAGE” skins for the Storm Rifle and Carbine, respectively, but now… I don’t know. Unless I can use them in Spartan Ops, not much point to me getting them except for taking screenshots.
I’m not really sure, but I’m guessing they won’t. If it doesn’t work, I wouldn’t be surprised, b/c I don’t remember which thread it was but bs angel said with regards to Champion Bundle they didn’t work b/c of the “lack of memory/space” or something like that. So most likely the McFarlene codes won’t work as well. I think it was on one of your threads, if I’m correct.
343i has already stated that they are not going to make any of the new content available in Spartan Ops.

There is a patch coming out this month that will fix most of the other bugs introduced with the Champions DLC; sadly, this will probably be among them.
It was supposed to come out in September, but for some reason it was delayed… I keep hoping that the reason for the delay is that their looking for a way to make this new content available in Spartan Ops, but I’ll likely be disappointed.
Spartan Ops has been a major drag the last few weeks, ever since they implemented skulls. Now I can’t play the first 4 episodes without having to put up with Elites and Knights on steroids.
